1998 News

The year of 1998 saw the enormous development of PaxLair from bare stones to a flourishing city. Founded on January 19, 1998 by The Band, PaxLair drew literally hundreds of people from across the Realm. Fights and festivals -- tavern brawls and orc invasions -- undead attacks and long-winded speeches -- Seer quests and Counselor gatherings.
The gods soon took notice and constructed various structures inside and outside the PaxLair buildings. On November 11, 1998, Lord British arrived and honored the citizens and visitors of the PaxLair player community. A working government thrived and inter-city cooperation soon became the norm.
