Tari Va'lister of the Ladies of the Lair met with orcs, elves, and humans at her Garden on East Main Street in PaxLair City. She showed them the poison on the ground while people laid animal hides to soak up the poison. Tari then stood on a book that some gypsies must have left earlier in the day. She vocally wondered if the gypsies could have intentionally poisoned her garden ... so they could be paid to cure it.

The book clearly showed that a gypsy named Sky Vajda would cure the garden for a fee. Sky Vajda must be one of the gypsies that recently moved into PaxLair City near the Ladies of the Lair. Everyone started wondering if the gypsies could have planted the eternally corrupt trees to pull a fast one on PaxLair City.

Everyone started looking around Main Street. They found more traces of poison between the orcish ruins and the garden. More animal hides were laid down to soak it all up. Yet the humans, orcs, and elves were still very confused and suspicious. In fact, the orcs started claiming that the humans poisoned their sacred ruins. Tempers started to flare until they decided to go find this mysterious gypsy.

Everyone piled into the small gypsy house. Could the gypsy realy cure the garden? No one knew. And, everyone wanted to learn more about her. There was very little inside the gypsy house -- it was sparsely furnished. One person said the gypsy was either very poor or was always ready for a fast get-away.

Unable to find the gypsy, everybody went next door to the Ladies of the Lair tavern. The situation was starting to become even more intense. An elf brought a two-headed ettin into the Lair for protection. But protection from what? Well, the elf was keeping an eye on everyone. The patrons of the Lair drank some ale and discussed their thoughts about the gypsy. They even speculated on more confused remedies.

Back at the orcish ruins, the orcs started talking about history. They explained, in their own language, how the orcs lived in the meadow before PaxLair was created. Most people had a very hard time understanding the orcish language. And now, after hearing the orc's supposed history, the people started to suspect the orcs for poisoning the city.

People continued to look for the gypsy and finally gathered at the garden once again. They were all determined to solve this mystery, even if tensions were mounting.

The gypsy finally showed up at the garden. The Bishop was extremely suspicious of the gypsy. He confronted her with many questions. The gypsy became defensive and almost walked out of the garden.

slideshow image
After more conversation and confrontation, the gypsy decided to sprinkle water on one of the eternally corrupt trees to cure it of the poison. The orcs stood on the edge of the garden watching the humans. One orc asked a feo-orcie if she had some dirt. Why would the orcs need some dirt? For what purpose?

slideshow image
The orcs started looking at more signs of poison flowing through PaxLair City. Poison seemed to be approaching the Spring of Courage. But the Spring did not appear to be corrupted. Everyone saw that traces of poison continued to flow west of the Spring.

The orcs and people followed the trail of poison throughout PaxLair City. One path led to the old Troubadour Hall where they found the Hall in even more decay. An orc said this building was for the poor people -- people who had no homes. Then the orc kicked some dirt, obviously disgusted at how the humans did not take care of their buildings.

slideshow image
Back at the orcish ruins, the orcs laid down dirt to soak up the poison. They were getting very angry at how the poison would not stop and they now strongly suspected humans were behind this.

slideshow image
The orcs completed their protection of their ruins and started talking about days of long ago. They started beating their chests and said orcs lived in this meadow before PaxLair was built.

slideshow image
Once again, people followed the trace of poison down to Troubadour Hall. An orc started laying down the same dirt to soak up more poison. Now the humans and elves were becoming very concerned at the orcish attention to Troubadour Hall.

slideshow image
The orcs declared that if other houses became poisoned in PaxLair City, then the orcs had a right to take them over because the humans did not care for them.

slideshow image
Suddenly, the earth began to shake. People became nervous, and the orcs just smiled. A crashing sound came from the direction of Troubadour Hall. Everyone ran to see what was happening.

slideshow image
Amazingly, an orcish building raised itself right out of the ground. The orcs beat their chests and claimed it was a gift from their gods.

slideshow image
The orcs started becoming more aggressive telling the humans and elves to stay out of their building. They said the orc building was always here ... and it was just buried by humans.

slideshow image
Governor Winfield came to the orc house apparently after feeling the ground shake and hearing the crashing noises. The orcs told him that this orc house had always been there. They said it had been buried by humans long ago and it came up out of the ground because the humans neglected Troubadour Hall.

slideshow image
Everyone then went back to the Ladies of the Lair Garden to show governor Winfield where the problem started. The orcs stood in the garden saying that humans spread the poison ... and that the humans are also blaming the orcs.

slideshow image
Then at the orcish ruins, the town drunk said the poison came from the eternally corrupt trees in the garden. Who knows if the town drunk is really an expert. The orcs and some humans and elves also claimed the gypsy did it to get gold from the city.

slideshow image
The Governor listened, but seemed to be more focused on how the problem started in the first place. He asked if anyone knew how the eternally corrupt trees came to be planted at the garden. No one had an answer and it continued to be a mystery.

slideshow image
The Governor left and went back to his office in the Mage Tower. The situation intensified when the town drunk decided to sit on the orcish ruined wall. Ga'kuct, the orc war boss, took great offense to this. He had enough of the humans. Ga'kuct tried to forceably move the town drunk away from the shrine, but the drunk turned and stabbed the orc. Wrong thing to do. The town drunk quickly died at the orc's feet.

slideshow image
Seeing the dead drunk on the ground, the humans and elves started attacking the orcs. They chased them in front of the Twin Towers to the west side of the city.

slideshow image
The chase continued and the vicious battle raged on. Orcs, elves, and humans were in a massive brawl.

slideshow image
Orcs chased humans and elves. Humans and elves chased orcs. Innocent bystanders tried to stay out of the way. Death and mayhem filled the streets of PaxLair City.

slideshow image
The humans and elves finally captured the orcish ruins and set up defenses. The Governor and Bishop watched the fighting continue, neither able to stop the fighting or curb the chaos.

slideshow image
The orcs counterattacked. Swords and spears crashed down upon armour and heads. The orcish ruins were soon covered in blood.

slideshow image
The orcs started to get the upper hand as elven and human bodies littered the streets. There seemed to be little mercy in this battle. Then, there was another crashing sound in the northwest part of the city.

slideshow image
The Governor quickly rode in that direction. He found another orcish building had been raised from under the ground just west of the Ladies of the Lair -- this time a tower. An orc standing guard said this was the orcish north watch tower.

slideshow image
Humans and elves came to the new orcish tower. There was a mighty cage inside. The orcs taunted the humans and elves claiming praise to their war gods. More fighting broke out.

slideshow image
During a lull in the battle, the war boss Ga'kuct and Governor Winfield went to the Orc Fort. They met in the war boss's hut. Other people were kept outside while they talked. Ga'kuct said the orcs will keep their eyes on the orcish ruins, suspicious of all who come near it. People outside the hut were becoming agitated while an orc stood guard.

slideshow image
Ga'kuct continued to say that he is blaming the humans and there is a human behind all of this. Governor Winfield said he would try to find the source of the problem and who was responsible. He said it may take a week or more to complete the investigation. Ga'kuct was noticeably angry at how slow the government of PaxLair City would respond.

Winfield came out of the meeting and met with Exodus Lyonne. Winfield explained the situation and indicated there would probably be a lot of chaos in PaxLair City over the next week or two.
